The Lyng

The regeneration of The Lyng is focused around the redevelopment of a former 1960s estate of local authority owned tower blocks and maisonettes.

This exciting new project is already underway with two phases complete in March 2006, providing 86 homes.

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Urban Living and Lyng Community Association are in the final stages of procuring an appropriate developer to deliver the remaining elements of the project comprising high quality public open space and 420 homes, of which 114 are for Lyng Community Association making a total of 200 homes for rent.
