The proposed refurbishment and expansion of Queens Square Shopping Centre will attract major retailers to West Bromwich Town Centre, revitalising the retail offering of the Town Centre and boosting consumer activity. Located adjacent to the new Tesco Centre, the New Queens Square Shopping Centre will put West Bromwich on the map by creating a vibrant Town Centre where people will want to spend time and money.

The proposed scheme by Stockland Halladale, designed by SMC Corstorphine & Wright, includes 263,000 sq ft of refurbished space, 167,000 sq ft of new retail space as well as 22 stylish apartments and a new, high quality, multi-storey car park with 850 spaces. This, combined with the Tesco Centre Development will create almost 1 million sq ft of new and refurbished retail over the next 5 years.

High Quality Public space will link Queens Square Shopping Centre with the Town Square and the pUBLIC arts facility. The scheme will form part of a new retail circuit with entrances onto the High Street, Town Square and the Tesco Centre.
