Shopping & Recreation

High quality, great places to shop, relax and socialise in - that’s what we will bring to West Bromwich and the surrounding area.

Over £350 million of retail-led regeneration is being delivered right now. This will change perceptions of the area to a leading shopping and leisure destination.

Our ambitious plans will help create a lively and vibrant environment linked with well integrated, exceptionally designed public realm rejuvenating the area into a dynamic place that it hasn’t been for many years.

West Bromwich and its surrounding area is an ethnically diverse, cultural melting pot with a large catchment population. Around 2.23 million people live within 30 minutes drive from West Bromwich Town Centre where almost one million sq ft of new and refurbished floorspace will be developed within the next 5 years.

The leisure and recreation hub will include a major shopping centre anchored by a Tesco Extra Store, plus a 90,000 sq ft department store, 10,700 sq ft of leisure facilities, a 6 screen cinema, a range of cafés and bars as well as 217,000 sq ft of high street shops.

The proposed refurbishment and expansion of Stockland Halladale’s New Queens Square Shopping Centre will build on this and includes 22 stylish new apartments and a new high quality multi-storey car park with 850 spaces.
