The Black Country Consortium, the sub-regional partnership for Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton, is the forum for the strategic co-ordination of public, private and voluntary sector partners. As the leading strategic co-ordinating body it intends to set radical new aspirations leading to the renaissance of the Black Country urban sub-region over the next 30 years.

Urban Living
Urban Living is one of the nine government funded housing market renewal area pathfinders, which are tasked with investing £500m in refurbishment, demolition and new builds to reverse low demand in dysfunctional housing markets by 2019. Urban Living´s remit covers a population of 150,000 in 60,000 existing households, and thousands of planned new homes, in parts of Birmingham and Sandwell.
