Stephen Karle  Chairman (Chief Executive, West Bromwich Building Society)

Not only does Stephen run one of the most important financial services in the West Midlands, the West Bromwich Building Society, but is also at the forefront of the renaissance of one of the country’s most deprived boroughs.

A former solicitor, Stephen has worked in the West Bromwich area for more than 20 years and has been involved in a wide variety of local organisations, working with the Chamber of Commerce, arts groups, the Regional Development Agency and enterprise bodies.

He is involved in a number of charitable activities through the Building Society and is also a keen supporter of Outward Bound, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Lords Taverners.
