Ros Kerslake, chief executive of RegenCo, the urban regeneration company for Sandwell, is leaving on 31 July to take up a new role as chief executive of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust.
During her current role, Ros has established RegenCo as a major force in the regeneration of West Bromwich, Smethwick and Hilltop and made major strides in raising the profile of the area with investors and developers.
Tom Fanning, RegenCo chairman said, "we are sorry that Ros is leaving but the board would like to thank her for all she has done in getting RegenCo to a point where it is poised to deliver major change for the area. We wish her all the very best for the future. An interim is in the process of being appointed and the recruitment process for a replacement is underway.”
Ros Kerslake said, “I am sad to be leaving RegenCo at such an exciting time for the company. I wish the team every success and look forward to watching things progress. However I am very excited to be taking up my new role which will enable me to be involved in major regeneration and heritage schemes nationally.”
Andrew Hamilton, chairman of The Prince's Regeneration Trust said, "we welcome Ros on board as our new chief executive, at what is a crucial time for the Trust as it is being restructured and refocused, and believe her commercial skills will complement the wealth of heritage skills that we already possess."
